Why UX?
Identifying and solving problems
I've always had a big interest in understanding other people's behaviours and needs, wanting to help find solutions. In the past I've been studying and working in psychiatry where I've had the opportunity to be the helping hand in everyday life. Sometimes it's not obvious what the care recipitent wants or needs, sometimes they don't know how to communicate it. My role in these situations has been to help the care recipient with their needs and find a solution. This experience I believe has helped me become an empathic and curious UX designer who is passionate about identifying and solving people's needs.
Creativity
Besides this 've always had a strong desire to express my creativity and been spending my time with lots of different creative activities such as filming, painting, choreographing cheerleading programs and scrapbooking. Though past work experiences has given me a lot I've always had a longing to b in a more creative field where I can share my ideas with the world. In this journey, I found UX.
As a UX/UI designer I can share my passion for visual design by creating stunning interfaces as well as empathize with users to find and solve their needs with smart solutions.

I'm currently on an internship at Rocket AB working on an exciting project which you can read about here until the end of may. As it's not long left I'm looking for new experiences where I can grow as a UX/UI designer and keep pursuing my passion.
